Must Live in the NYC/NJ area.  Be available for early morning and/or late night tapings, and some weekends.

Prep Football Job Openings

In-State Coordinator: Tracks commitment status, injury report, and recent performances of the top 10 recruits in the state. Coordinators must also work to gather personal interviews with at least two of the top 10 prep athletes in the state.

Big Game Predictions: Applicant is responsible for analyzing and predicting the outcome of the top three in-state games of that week.

Prep Top 25 Correspondent: Tracks the weekly scores of the top 25 prep teams in the nation.  Applicant must post game results, and updating the weekly rankings accordingly.

Video Editor: Reviews weekly video submissions. Applicant must be skilled at using online digital media applications such as creating and editing user submitted football videos.

National Prep Scouting Coordinator:  Scouting coordinators will team with the Prep In-State Coordinators, and compile a list of the top 25 recruiting prospects by position. Each scouting coordinator will be assigned a specific position to rank.  If applying to be a National Prep Scout,  be sure to indicate which football positions you would like to scout and rank (.i.e. QB’s, LB’s…OT…).

Prep Weekly Awards:  Employee is responsible for crowing a weekly winner of the FG National Defensive and Offensive prep players of the week. Must include a game recap and summary of the individual’s performance (250-word minimum).

College Football Job Openings

Collegiate Conference Beat Writer: Eligible applicants must have a genuine die-hard interest for their favorite Conference.   Applicants must submit weekly game summaries (250 word minimum), stats, analysis, injury updates and any breaking news concerning the assigned conference.  Remember, we cover all colleges and conferences FBS-JUCO.

Award Watch: Applicant must provide weekly insight, updates, and predictions on the Heisman Trophy race (i.e. pre season favorites, midseason surprises, sleepers, and disappointments), Walter Payton Award race, Harlon Hill Trophy race, Gagliardi Trophy race, Rawlings NAIA Player of the Year Award, NJCAA Player of the Year Award and also the Positional Awards (i.e. Walter Camp, Davey O’Brien, etc.)

Collegiate/ Video Editor: Reviews weekly video submissions.  Applicant must have experience at using online digital media applications such as creating and editing user submitted football videos.

NCAA Conference Forecaster: On a weekly basis, applicant is responsible for analyzing and predicting the outcome the top games in a specified conference.  Remember, we cover all colleges and all conferences/divisions.  Point being, if your school is playing collegiate football, FG has it covered. If applying for the Conference Forecaster position, please indicate which three conferences you are most interested in.

Under the Radar: Employee provides bi-weekly analysis, of the top offensive and defensive collegiate players who are unsuspectingly shooting up the draft boards of many NFL scouts.

Collegiate Scout:  Collegiate scouts will work with conference coordinators at information gathering, and overall analysis of the most NFL ready talents throughout all of college football.  Each scout will be assigned a specific position to analyze and rank.  If applying for a Collegiate Scouting position, please be sure to indicate your position of interest (i.e. QB’s, LB’s…CB’s…).

College Football Weekly Awards:  Responsible for crowing a weekly defensive and offensive player of the week. Must include a game recap and summary of the individual’s outstanding performance (250-word minimum).

NFL  Job Openings

NFL Beat Writer: Eligible applicants must have a genuine die-hard interest/ love/ obsession for their favorite NFL team.  This job is only suited for those who never miss a moment of their teams action.  Applicants must submit weekly game summaries (250 word minimum), stats, analysis, injury updates and any breaking news concerning the assigned team.

Rookie Watch: Applicant must provide weekly insight, statistical updates, and predictions of the rookie most likely to win the NFL Rookie of the Year award (i.e. pre season favorites, midseason surprises, sleepers, and disappointments).

NFL Weekly Predictions:  Applicant is responsible for analyzing and predicting the outcome of each week’s upcoming NFL games.

NFL Power Rankings: Employee must track the weekly results of all 32 NFL teams and compile a list, ranking all 32 teams accordingly.   Posting game results, and updating the weekly rankings accordingly.

NFL Weekly Awards:  Responsible for crowing a weekly NFL defensive and offensive player of the week. Must include a game recap and summary of the individual’s outstanding performance (250-word minimum).

NFL Draft  Job Openings

Draft Scout:   FG Draft scouts will be assigned a specific player position to analyze, study and rank.  When applying for Draft scouting position, be sure to indicate which positions you feel you have expert knowledge at analyzing (.i.e. QB’s, LB’s…OT…).  FG Draft scouts must compile prospect profiles (i.e. player strengths, weaknesses, season stats and the projected draft position) for each athlete in the assigned position group.

Bust Watch: Employee must provide weekly insight, statistical updates, and predictions of some of the most heralded rookies from the draft, who display all of the qualities of an NFL Bust.

Mock Draft:  Applicant is responsible for analyzing and predicting the first 32 selections of the NFL Draft.  Employee must update the mock draft biweekly, starting in week six.

Small School Prospects: Employee must compile a list of the top collegiate prospects playing in non BCS conferences.  List must be updated biweekly.  (10 prospect minimum)
