Here is Football Gameplan’s 2016 Preseason D3 All-American Team Special

____

The two leading rushers from last year headline our 1st Team All-Americans. Carnegie Mellon’s Sam Benger and St. Thomas’ Jordan Roberts both ran for 2,092 yards last year, combining for 56 rushing touchdowns.  There’s a lot of purple along the offensive line with Mount Union’s Mitch Doraty, Mary Hardin-Baylor’s Broderick Jenkins and Tony Koepnick of Wisconsin-Whitewater.  Defensive Lineman Teidrick Smith of Mary Hardin-Baylor is one of the more feared pass rushers in all of Division III.  Defensive Back Jack Toner of Johns Hopkins was a big reason why the Blue Jays had a lot of success on defense in 2015.
